Florida State quarterback commit Chris Parson is out in Los Angeles, California this week competing at the Elite 11 Finals -- an annual competition featuring the top 20 quarterback prospects in the nation. Tuesday was the first day of the event and Parson was quick to make a name for himself. He came out with a victory in the 'Rail Shot' challenge. Here's a clip of Parson's winning throw:

Elite 11 Finals check-in also occurred yesterday and the four-star signal caller spoke to the media for the first time in nearly a month regarding his official visit to FSU along with his trips to other programs right here.

The event will continue today and will finish tomorrow. Here is 247Sports' initial Elite 11 rankings from day one.

According to the industry-generated 247Sports Composite Rankings, Parson is the No. 328 overall prospect and No. 16 quarterback in the nation. He's also the No. 6 player within the state of Tennesssee.
