GSR CRS-PAD

For Continuous Rail Support

GSR-CRS pads have been specially designed for soft mounting of crane rails, being mounted either continuously on steel, or on mixed conrete and steel, along with GSR fixing clips.

GSR-CRS pads are manufactured as a vulcanized synthetic elastomer strip, reinforced with a steel strip.

Reduce the wear of the rail and its support

  • Absorb uneven surfaces
  • Improve the contact between rail and support
  • Are suitable for all normal environmental conditions
  • Are designed for service temperatures from -25ºC up to 100ºC
  • Reduce noise and vibration

Material characteristics:

  • Synthetic elastomer reinforced with a steel strip
  • Shore hardness:75°A±5 (ISO 48:1994)
  • Tensile strength (ISO 37:1994): 17.5N/mm2 when leaving factory-15.0N/mm2 after ageing
  • Elongation (ISO 37:1994): 305% when leaving factory-240% after ageing
  • Compression set (ISO 815:1991): <5% when leaving factory
  • Rebound resilience (ISO 4662:1986): 27%
  • Service temperature: from -25ºC up to + 100ºC. For other temperatures, please consult us.

GSR DRS-PAD

For Discontinuous Rail Support

GSR-DRS Crane rail pads have been speGSR-DRS Crane rail pads have been specially designed for installations where rails are mounted on individual sole plates. Front and back lips sit over the sole plate to prevent pad displacement. The pad is cut to 3~5mm less than the width of the rail bottom flange.

GSR-DRS PADS:

  • Eliminate the load concentrations and resultant fatigue stresses in the rail mounting;
  • Protect the crane mechanism and increase rail, wheel, bearing and axle life;
  • Reduce the wear of rail and support surfaces by eliminating fretting corrosion;
  • Reduce stresses in the rail, grout and concrete below the sole plate;
  • Allow the rail to rotate small amounts so that it conforms to crane wheel;
  • Distribute wheel loads onto the supporting structure;
  • Are specially resistant to wear, shear, crushing, oils, greases, ozone and oxygen, as well as ultra-violet rays.

Material characteristics :

  • Composition : EVA copolymer.
  • Shore hardness : 95°A (ISO 868 A scale).
  • Tensile strength : 16 N/mm minimum (ISO R527).
  • Elongation : 250 % minimum (ISO R527).
  • Recommended maximum compressive stress : 10 N/mm2.
  • Service temperature : from -25°C up to +75°C.
  • For other temperatures, please consult us.

GSR-DRS-L x W PAD

L = dimension of the soleplate in the rail axis.
W= reduced width, always 3 to 5 mm shorter the rail foot width.
