As part of their opening night live show at Gamescom 2022, HoYoverse, the creators of Genshin Impact, revealed a new story trailer for their upcoming game, Honkai: Star Rail.

Many HoYoverse and Honkai Impact players appear to be eagerly anticipating additional information regarding the newly announced turn-based role-playing game Honkai: Star Rail.

Only using significant gaming events like Gamescom 2022 and Summer Game Fest last June as platforms, the developers have been a little selective with details regarding the game.

HoYoverse released a brand-new Honkai: Star Rail trailer called Nightmare during the Gamescom 2022 event. Genshin Impact fans can have a look at the trailer below:

“Three out of five people have to pay the price,” a voice can be heard stating in the clip as the lead character appears to be having a nightmare about his past. Hyperspace Before she jumps, catch a glance inside the well-known space travel train.

The newly released trailer gives players a chance to see the latest take on the HoYoverse anime style, which has developed into a whole other subculture.  Jing Yuan, a white-haired man, and Blade, a black-haired man also mentioned by the narrator, have appeared in the second beta and appear to be upcoming five-star characters.

Honkai: Star Rail was last shown during Game Summer Fest, where a different story trailer that gave a much better impression of the game’s characters and plots was revealed. There are still many unknowns about the whole game, but it’s possible that strategic turn-based gameplay was used in its development.

Honkai: Star Rail won’t be available for some months and shouldn’t be anticipated until late 2022 or early 2023.
